CLASSES OFFERED

Krista and Ron's teaching style embraces the essense of Kripalu yoga. All of the classes they offer are taught in a gentle way, guided by the breath with the purpose of guiding the student to better awareness of body, mind, and spirit.

Gentle Yoga

This class allows for a gentle yoga practice, moving through postures at a gentle pace. It is open to all levels and will always give permission for you to go at your own pace. This is a great class for beginners, seniors and those looking to increase their flexibility.

Beach Yoga

This class is a great opportunity to practice the serenity of yoga in a truly serene environment - the great outdoors. Be prepared for the elements (jacket, sunscreen, sunglasses, hat, etc.). Appropriate for all levels.

Sunrise Beach Yoga

Yoga Walk

Join me for YogaWalk, a unique experience combining all the benefits of yoga with the benefits of walking in a truly incredible outdoor environement. On this adventure we take a walk improving strength and cardiovasuclar health and along the way we take breaks to practice mindful yoga postures that are conducive to our surroundings.

Heart Opening Yoga

In this class, we explore postures by moving at a gentle pace, guided by the breath with the purpose of gaining better awareness of body, mind and spirit. This class is open to all levels and will always give permission for you to go at your own pace. This is a great class for beginners and seniors as well as those looking to deepen their current yoga practice. Heart Opening Yoga

Spiritual Development

This class will go beyond the asanas to explore the other aspects of yoga including pranayama, krias, tantra and discussions that lead to personal spiritual development.

Gentle Flow Yoga

This class is an awareness and breath based practice where the breath is the guide and your body follows the breath into a gentle, flowing sequence of postures. This class is appropriate for all levels.

Yoga and Qigong Experience

Both Yoga and Qigong are about awareness, breath, and life force. In Yoga we call this life force Prana and in Qigong it's called Qi. Regardless of what you choose to call it it's an energy that is undeniable when you practice mindful movements. In this class we practice the Level 1 Qigong form along with yoga postures and flows to help deepen the experience.

Gentle Yoga with Massage

This class allows for a gentle yoga practice, moving through postures at a gentle pace. While in postures experience gentle massage using the thai yoga technique. This class is a truly unique yoga experience. This class is appropriate for all levels.
Gentle Yoga with Ron
"Ron's Yoga Massage class gives a new twist to the yoga experience. I really didn't know what to expect and it turned out to be great. Ron comes over and massages you while you are in the various yoga postures. I am relatively new to yoga and have tight muscles. By the end of the class I felt so relaxed and at peace. I didn't want to leave."

Chair Yoga

This class allows for a gentle yoga practice with the assistance of a chair. It will help to increase strength and flexibility. Chair yoga is ideal for but not limited to seniors and those with limited mobility. This class is open to all levels and will always give permission for you to go at your own pace.

Daytona Yoga Chair Yoga
The following classes are appropriate for all levels.
Vinyasa Flow/Power Yoga Vinyasa Flow or Power Yoga is a dynamic and invigorating form of yoga rooted in the Ashtanga tradition that is designed to connect breath (pranayama) with posture (asana). This class will emphasize continuous posture flow through breath synchronized fluid movements. This coordination between movement and breath helps to cultivate a calm mind and a strong body. It is ideal to have some familiarity with postures prior to taking this class however it is suitable for all levels and modifications will be offered where appropriate.

The following classes are appropriate for children & families.

Kids Yoga

This gathering is an opportunity for kids to experience the magic of yoga in an environment that is open and accepting of all that participate. Combines movement, sharing & quiet. Parents may choose to join the children or feel free to do their own practice next door in the Soul Yoga class. Either one is fine we just ask that a parent remains on the premisis. Children must be able to walk and feel comfortable being left without a parent.

This gathering is an opportunity for the family to come together in an environment that is open and accepting of all that participate. Combines movement, sharing & quiet.
